These hats were designed for Boston's Lyric Stage production of "Lady Windemere's Fan". They are out of the fabrics used for the dresses. Strips of a lavender and white stripe and a print of lilacs were made into 6" wide ribbon which was wired and twisted to produce a very light "confectionery" look for an 18 year-old girl. The hat on the right was constructed in a similar fashion to the red "Hello, Dolly" hat with a cream bengaline covered with black lace and small black rose accents.
