The Royal Family is George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber's comic play the Barrymores, the royal family of the American theatre. I played the young Lionel role. I also decorated the set with the instructions from the director that it look "lived in and loved". It was to look like the family had lived in this New York apartment for many years. Many of the pictures and paintings were from my own home.
