The KISS108 radio station in Boston gives a huge day-long concert each year to celebrate their anniversary. The 20th anniversary concert this year featured (among others and in no particular order) Britney Spears, 98 Degrees, Jordan Knight, Joe McIntyre, Melissa Etheridge, Rod Stewart, and Elton John. The morning DJ, Matty Siegel, and his sidekick, Billy Costa, performed a Ricky Martin number with Matty dressed as Ricky Martin and Billy Costa as Carmen Miranda.  The concert was at the Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Great Woods) an outdoor "shed" facility with a capacity crowd of 20,000.  A small hat would not have been appropriate, so I filled a basket with paper mache fruit and a 20" styrafoam column covered with a mylar palm tree and surmounted by a 4' inflatable parrot.  It was quite a thrill to hear 20,000 fans roar their approval when Billy appeared as "Carmen"!
